Gwen Stefani Shares Photo From State Dinner
The star performed in front of the Obamas and the PM of Italy.
— -- Gwen Stefani will likely never forget Oct. 18, 2016.
Her day began Tuesday morning with the announcement that she would be returning to "The Voice" next season, alongside Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and her boyfriend Blake Shelton.
Then the 47-year-old singer was off to the White House with her sons, Kingston Rossdale, 10, Zuma Rossdale, 8, and Apollo Rossdale, 2, for a very special tour. The family even posed for pictures in the Oval Office with President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and the guests of honor, Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife Agnese Landini.
Renzi later shared the group photo on Facebook.
Later that evening, at the Obamas' final state dinner, Stefani, along with boyfriend Shelton, rubbed elbows with designer Giorgio Armani, Vice President Joe Biden, singer Frank Ocean, celebrity chef Rachael Ray, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, musician James Taylor and actor John Turturro while enjoying a special meal prepared by celebrity chef Mario Batali.
Stefani's big moment came after dinner, when she took the stage to perform some of her solo hits. She then invited Shelton, 40, on stage for a performance of their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."
When the set was over, the president shook Stefani's hand and she beamed.
