The 46-year-old singer on her new music and her life post-divorce.
— -- Gwen Stefani is opening up about her "fresh start."
The 46-year-old singer appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about her new music and her experience as a host on NBC's "The Voice." She also opened up about how she is doing emotionally after she split with musician Gavin Rossdale this past August.
"I am in a good place," said Stefani about her life post-divorce. "I'm having a lot of fun, It's like a whole new life, a whole new chapter."
DeGeneres danced around the subject of Stefani's new relationship with country star and "The Voice" co-host Shelton, but the talk show host got the No Doubt frontwoman to admit that she's "happy and having fun."
"I'm having lots of fun, yeah" Stefani said.
Stefani also revealed that Shelton was not even on her radar before she joined "The Voice."
"I didn't even know who [Blake] was before I was on the show," Stefani admitted. "Before I was on 'The Voice' I had never heard of him before. ... I'm an O.C. girl, what would I know?" the "Used to Love You" singer added.
DeGeneres tried to pry more into the new couple's relationship, but Stefani kept her lips locked on any more details about her and Shelton.
"And he's a good kisser?" DeGeneres asked the singer.
"Wow!" Stefani replied, laughing. However, the singer did not answer the question, simply telling the talk show host that she is "so awesome."
