Inside 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Oksana Dmytrenko's Wedding to Jonathan Platero

— -- When "Dancing with the Stars" pro Oksana Dmytrenko got engaged to "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant, Jonathan Platero, she never expected him to plan the wedding.

She was wrong.

Platero teamed up with celebrity wedding planner David Tutera to plan the beach-themed wedding of her dreams. On hand for the celebration, which will air tonight on the WE tv show, "David Tutera: CELEBrations" at 9 p.m. ET/PT, were her mother, who was flown in from the Ukraine as a special surprise, as well as her co-stars, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke.

"For Jonathan and Oksana's wedding, I was really inspired by the couple's love of Brazil, Carnival and the sea," Tutera told ABC News. "Though I wanted to keep the colors on the more traditional and subdued side, I tried to evoke a feeling of Brazil through the brightly colored and beachy bridesmaid fashion, Carnival-inspired entertainment and Brazilian food!"

The meal was catered by season five "Top Chef" contestant Chef Richard Sweeney of the Florent Restaurant & Lounge in San Diego and was finished with a wedding cake from the famed Magnolia Bakery. After dinner, guests danced the night away with music provided by DJ Bouquet Sound and enjoyed a performance from carnival dancers and Brazilian drummers.

"It was really important to me that this wedding take place on the beach because that is Jonathan and Oksana's favorite place to be together," Tutera said. "We finally decided to go with a public beach and bring everything -- and I mean absolutely everything, right down to the kitchen -- into the space so that we could get the perfect atmosphere."
