Jason Aldean Dating 'American Idol' Contestant Brittany Kerr
The two were spotted kissing.
March 18, 2014 -- Jason Aldean and former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr are an item, ABC News has confirmed.
Aldean's rep said the two started dating after the country music singer split from his wife and the mother of his two children, Jessica.
He filed for divorce last May, though there were photos of him kissing Kerr before the two split.
"The biggest thing is, obviously there was things going on in my marriage at the time where I just wasn't really happy," he explained "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts.
According to several reports, Kerr has been spotted at Aldean's shows in the past few months.
The singer partnered with Major League Baseball for a tour of about 50 cities, he announced on "Good Morning America" in January.
