Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed that he is recovering from a health scare.

The “Modern Family” actor revealed via Instagram that cancer was removed from his face on Monday. In the photo, Ferguson can be seen wearing a large white bandage on the right side of his face.

In the caption, Ferguson, 40, thanked his doctors for removing the unspecified cancer. The actor also made a light joke to his "Modern Family" makeup department about how difficult it will be to cover up his stitches.

"Thank you to Dr. Bennett & his entire team for taking the cancer out of my face. Good luck hiding the stitches tomorrow @modernfamily_makeuphair!" Ferguson wrote.
