The series looks at the O.J. Simpson trial from the perspective of the lawyers.
— -- John Travolta is transformed into attorney Robert Shapiro in a new teaser trailer for the upcoming FX limited series, "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," directed by Ryan Murphy.
The "American Crime Story" series will focus on the lawyer's perspective of the sensational O.J. Simpson trial, and boasts an impressive cast.
In addition to Travolta as Shapiro, Simpson will be played by Cuba Gooding Jr. Other cast members include Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian and Connie Britton as Faye Resnick.
In the newest teaser clip, titled, "The Question," Travolta as Shapiro is seen having a private conversation with Gooding Jr.'s Simpson.
“Anytime that I take on a new criminal case, I always ask the client a question,” Shapiro says to Simpson. “Now I won’t be judgmental.”
The teaser cuts out just before Shapiro actually asks Simpson the question, so fans will have to wait until the series airs to find out what the question is.
