May 27, 2014 -- Khloé Kardashian flew to New York City after attending sister Kim's wedding in Florence, leading some to wonder why she didn't go back to L.A. with the rest of her family.

Hours after she touched down at John F. Kennedy airport in the Big Apple, her new beau, French Montana, posted a photo of someone resembling Kardashian, 29, on Instagram. (The Morocco-born rapper had been nearby in the Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend.)

Plus, as some eagle-eyed fans noted, the woman in the photo is wearing an anklet that resembles the one Kardashian, 29, was wearing at the airport.

Kardashian filed for divorce from husband Lamar Odom in December.

A rep for the reality TV star did not respond to a request for comment, but the two have been spending a great deal of time together of late, and he has even met her family. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, however, downplayed the possible new romance, saying that Montana, 29, is "a good friend" to her daughter.

"They're friends," Jenner said earlier this month. "They're hanging out."
