Lady Gaga Debuts New Single, 'Perfect Illusion'
Check it out!
— -- Lady Gaga's new single is here!
On Thursday night, "Perfect Illusion" made its debut via the usual digital outlets. The dance-pop tune appears to allude to heartbreak.
"I still feel the blow but at least now I know it wasn't love, it wasn't love, it was a perfect illusion. Mistaken for love, it wasn't love, it was a perfect illusion," she sings.
Gaga -- who announced in July that she and her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, have been "taking a break" -- worked on the song with producers Mark Ronson and BloodPop, a.k.a. Michael Tucker, as well as Kevin Parker from the band Tame Impala.
Gaga had been teasing the release of "Perfect Illusion" on social media during the week. It's expected to be featured on her next pop album, the follow-up to 2013's "Artpop."
Gaga collaborated with Tony Bennett on a jazz album, "Cheek to Cheek," that hit stores in 2014.
The song is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon and other streaming services.
