Lady Gaga Pulled Over Just Weeks After Getting Driver's License
The singer tweeted, "Big deal!"
— -- Let's hope Lady Gaga practiced her poker face as the singer was pulled over just weeks after earning her drivers license.
The singer was photographed getting pulled over Friday on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, while driving her red pickup truck.
On Sunday, she addressed the hiccup.
"Ya I got pulled over. Big deal!" she tweeted to her more than 61 million followers. "I just haven't received plates yet for my new pick up!"
Gaga included an emoji appearing to shrug its shoulders.
In California, drivers don't receive license plates right away when they purchase new or used vehicles. It takes weeks until permanent plates are mailed and until then, drivers are required to show proof of ownership along with other information.
Last month, Gaga celebrated obtaining her drivers license by posting several photos on Instagram.
One caption read, "Thelma and Puhleaaaze (And yes I FINALLY got my license after years of driving w an adult present and a learners permit) IM FREE Rollin w the homies."
The "Poker Face" singer also shared a photo of herself touching the ground after she past her drivers' test. She captioned that photo, "And after I passed my driving test. PRAISE HIM."
