Lana del Rey Reveals How Much She Was Paid to Sing at West-Kardashian Wedding

May 29, 2014 — -- "It was great," Lana del Rey said when asked about her experience performing for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian this past weekend.

The "Young and Beautiful" singer, 27, sang for the couple at their pre-wedding celebration held at the Palace of Versailles this past Friday.

When she was asked "I know you can't talk about how much you were paid, but how much would it cost for you to sing at my wedding?" by a cameraman in a video posted on the Daily Mail, she responded: "I'll do it for free just like I did this one."

After the man followed up by saying he heard it was $2.8 million, she said, "It's not true."

"I would never let a friend pay me to sing at a wedding," she added. "That would be crazy."

Later, she added the wedding was "beautiful."

After the Versailles event, West, 36, and Kardashian, 33, were married Saturday in Florence, Italy at the Belvedere Fort.

Earlier this week, they kicked off their honeymoon by enjoying a beautiful day on the Ballyhoura Mountains in Ireland on Tuesday.
