Leslie Jones Tweets for Missed Love Connection
The comedian is looking for a waiter she met after the Emmys.
— -- By now, Leslie Jones' recent troubles on social media have been well documented, but now she's making her online presence work for her love life.
The "Saturday Night Live" comedienne -- who already scored a chance to cover the Olympics in Rio after her furious tweeting about the Games -- is trying to find a missed love connection from Emmy night, all in 140 characters.
The comedienne is hoping to reconnect with a bartender she met last weekend after the Emmys.
"Ok at [the Governors Ball, a] cute bartender from Alabama flirted with me but i didn't get his #. We had to go," she tweeted. "I'll know who you are if you reach out."
It's unknown if the gambit worked, but the post has been liked more than 2,000 times.
This past summer, Jones, 49, briefly suspended her Twitter account after she was subjected to racist attacks online. A few weeks later, the "Ghostbusters" star faced another digital battle, when trolls hacked her personal website and her cloud storage.
"Thanks to my fans and friends! I'm soooooo ok really," she tweeted on Sept. 4, after taking a hiatus from the social network. "And I will always be funny been through a lot in my life and I ALWAYS GET BACK UP!"
