Marilyn Manson Mourns His Mother's Death
"I hope I see you again someday," he wrote.
May 19, 2014 — -- Marilyn Manson is known as being a dark rocker, but he's showing a softer side.
Barbara J. Warner, the singer's mother, died last week at the age of 68 after battling dementia and Manson used Facebook to mourn.
"To my Mother, the first and greatest believer in me... I hope I see you again someday. But not now, because I have more things I promised I would do. I'll make you proud and satisfied that you know you made the son you wanted," the singer, whose real name is Brian Warner, wrote on Sunday.

Almost 100,000 of Manson's fans have liked his touching post.
An obituary for Manson's mother reads that "Services were private. The Lamiell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association."
