Meet the 2016 Victoria's Secret Angels

— -- After weeks of preparation, this year's class of 51 Victoria's Secret angels were set to walk the runway today in Paris.

Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt are among the many models returning to the catwalk. Newcomer Bella Hadid is joining her sister Gigi Hadid, who is making her second appearance. But Behati Prinsloo, who opened the show two years in a row, will be absent from the runaway, after giving birth to her first child in September.

Unfortunately, we have to wait until Dec. 5 to see the angels strut their stuff when the annual lingerie show is broadcast on CBS. But in the meantime, we can check out photos and videos they have posted on social media leading up to their big moment.

Jasmine Tookes, who became an angel in 2012, was scheduled to wear the $3 million Fantasy Bra this year.

Jenner was walking for the second time in the fashion show and returning to Paris for the first time since her sister Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint.

Proud mother Yolanda Hadid, also a model, celebrated her daughters being angels with a throwback photo of the two of them. "17 years after I photographed my 'ANGELS' Today is the day that they will be walking in the fashion show together," she wrote on Instagram.

Bella Hadid was especially excited to be experiencing the moment with her sister. "can't believe I get to experience all of this with my best friend!" she wrote on Instagram, "i LOVE you!"

Former Swedish basketball star Hosk has been modeling for Victoria's Secret since 2011.
