Minnie Driver Quits Twitter Over Bullying
"It's too mean sometimes," she tweeted. "Not worth it."
April 11, 2014 — -- At 44, Minnie Driver is still one of the most stunning women in Hollywood.
But online and through social media, people will pick on you for almost anything.
After the "About a Boy" actress was photographed on vacation with her son Henry, 5, in Miami earlier this week -- and even though she sported a bikini body better than women half her age while lounging on the beach or by the pool -- people tweeted "mean" comments, the actress posted.
"God some people are horrible: you try being photographed when you don't know it's happening, when you're on holiday with your kids," she tweeted on Wednesday.
She continued, "I'm out of this Twittersphere for a while. It's too mean sometimes, about your body , about your soul. Not worth it."

This is a shame since last week, Driver told ABC News she was absolutely "mad" -- in a good way -- about being on Twitter.
"It's where I get my news from these days," she said. "As a celebrity, it's having a forum where you can answer the nonsensical rubbish that is written about you or not engage with that. It's given a little bit of control back, I love it."
