'Mrs. Doubtfire' Star Mara Wilson Remembers Her 'Favorite Teacher' Robin Williams

— -- When Robin Williams died, many of his former co-stars expressed their grief in prepared statements or via social media.
However, his "Mrs. Doubtfire" co-star, Mara Wilson, wasn't ready to do that -- until now.
"While Robin and I had not talked in a few years, there is no question he had a great impact on my life," she wrote on her blog. "He was as warm and talented as everyone says, and a joy to be around. It’s as if my favorite teacher died."

Wilson, now 27, played Williams' youngest child in the 1993 film, "Mrs. Doubtfire." When he was found dead on Monday from an apparent suicide, she said that news outlets asked her to do interviews, which she didn't -- and doesn't -- feel ready to do just yet.
"Everybody grieves in their own way. When I heard about Robin’s death, I was shocked, confused, angry, regretful, and above all, sad," she wrote. "All I wanted was to talk to my family and friends and cry."
