— -- The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards announced the 2016 nominees on Wednesday and immediately after the names were called, actors and actresses began to react in complete shock and amazement.

Movies like "Steve Jobs" and acclaimed series like "Better Call Saul" all took home nominations.

Alicia Vikander was nominated for her role in "The Danish Girl" and said in a statement to ABC News, "it’s an honor to be among the incredible actresses in this category. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring this poignant and courageous love story to the screen. I share this with the extraordinary Eddie Redmayne, the cast and crew, and, of course, our director Tom Hooper for making it all possible."

Brie Larson couldn't contain her excitement for her nod for "Room."

"Screen Actors Guild...thank you!! I'm so overwhelmed with happiness. This is a HUGE honor, made even more special because I'll get to share the evening with Jacob. Best date EVER!" she wrote.

Bob Odenkirk said,"I am thrilled to be nominated by my fellow actors, and I give all credit to Mckean, Banks, Seahorn, and the amazing cast around me, raising my game. Thanks!”

Queen Latifah was nominated for her HBO movie "Bessie" and said, "This movie was a labor of love and being recognized for my performance as Bessie Smith is really incredible."

Idris Elba, who was nominated for both TV and film, said he was "floored."

"It’s such a huge honor to be recognized by my friends and peers and for two projects that have really been such an important part of my life, 'Luther' and 'Beasts of No Nation,'" he added.
