Parents of Killed 'Midnight Rider' Crewmember Visit Fatal Train Accident Site
While filming, Sarah Jones was killed on the train trestle by a freight train.
— -- Camera assistant Sarah Jones, 27, was killed when a freight train came barreling towards “Midnight Rider” cast and crew members while they were on the train trestle over the Altamaha River outside of Doctortown, Georgia. The collision, which occurred on Feb. 20, 2014, also injured seven others.
Jones’ parents Richard and Elizabeth Jones recently went to the century-old train trestle for the first time since their daughter died.
“The arrogance of someone putting my baby on the track and the fear she must have felt. I can only imagine. I can't imagine!” Elizabeth Jones told ABC News’ “20/20.”
