Paul Walker's Brother Cody Remembers the Actor a Year After Death
"I am so lucky to have had him as a big brother," he said.
— -- It has been nearly a year since the accidental death of actor Paul Walker, but his memory is still fresh in his brother Cody's mind.
Walker died Nov. 30, 2013, in a car accident near one of his charity Reach Out Worldwide events. Cody Walker has since taken the charity under his wing to keep it alive and thriving.
"ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed," Cody told E! News. "I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it."
The mission of Reach Out Worldwide includes collecting toys and backpacks for less fortunate kids. Cody, 26, and the charity even went to the Philippines to help after Typhoon Haiyan late last year.
Cody Walker also talked about what his famous brother taught him up until his death at age 40.
"Just live your life to the fullest. Laugh a lot, love and find your true happiness," Cody said. "Remember that no matter how cool you think you may be, you're not cool enough to look down on anyone, ever. I am so lucky to have had him as a big brother."
Cody and his brother Caleb stepped in to help finish "Furious 7" when some scenes were left after Paul's death. "Furious 7" opens April 3, 2015.
