• Will Bridesmaids Be a Hit?

Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph could be summer's most dynamic comedic duo. The "Saturday Night Live" stars (Wiig is currently on the show, Rudolph is an alum) star in "Bridesmaids," in theaters May 13, 2011. Wiig plays the zany maid of honor to Rudolph's bride. The film is being billed as the female version of "The Hangover," 2009's smash hit about a bachelor party gone awry. "It's an enormous compliment," Rudolph told "Access Hollywood" about the comparison. "I think they might be surprised that it's a little different of a movie."

Kristin Wiig is known for her awkward, often annoying "Saturday Night Live" characters, like Gilly, a sociopathic schoolgirl. She recently told Time magazine that she wants to retire the character along with another "SNL" favorite, Penelope.
