'Pitch Perfect 2' Star Brittany Snow Reveals She Was Bullied Growing Up

— -- Brittany Snow has been a fixture in hit films like "Pitch Perfect" and "John Tucker Must Die" for the better part of a decade, but before her success, the star reveals she didn't have the best time in school.
The actress, 28, said before social media, there was another way for girls to get together online and poke fun.
"AOL Instant Messenger was a big thing back in the day, where girls would get on it and make fun of me," she told People magazine.
Snow said because of this abuse, she decided to help form Love is Louder so girls – boys too -- could now use social media for good, making kids feel like they are part of something, spreading love, not hate.
"When the suicides were starting to happen and kids were being bullied in schools, I felt really compelled to do something because I was bullied in school, and I didn't really fit into a category that a lot of programs that were being started had," she added. "People are really speaking out about what they struggle with, and that's really cool to me. I kept my stuff – and I think a lot of people do – very secret."
