Why Pregnant 'Smash' Star Megan Hilty Changed Her Mind About Babies
The actress is expecting a baby girl with husband Brian Gallagher.
May 9, 2014 -- Megan Hilty is expecting her first child, a girl, with her husband Brian Gallagher.
Meeting Gallagher, she said, was what made her want to have a baby.
"I didn't want to have kids until I met him," Hilty told ABC News. "He's been so wonderful to me. I didn't want to have kids. I want to have [his] kids."

Hilty, 33, married Gallagher last year in Las Vegas after more than a year of dating.
Calling her actor husband "the greatest thing that has ever happened to me," the actress added that they recently moved back to New York City to be close to his family. They're planning to perform together there too, right up until the baby comes later this year.
However, right now her focus is her new animated film, "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return," which hits theaters today. One day, she said, she hopes to watch the movie, which she began working on four years ago, with her daughter.
"It's the icing on the really awesome cake," she said. "I'm so proud to be a part of a film that teaches young children great lessons and, hopefully, she loves this just as much as I do."
