— -- Val Chmerkovskiy is one of 10 professional dancers who are set to embark on the "Dancing With The Stars Live!" tour, kicking off this winter.

"Dancing with the Stars: Live! -- We Came to Dance" kicks off December 16 in Reno, Nevada. The tour will stop in 43 cities before concluding February 14, 2017, in Costa Mesa, California.

Chmerkovskiy who won the 20th season of "Dancing with the Stars" with actress Rumer Willis last year, told ABC News that although it's his fifth tour in a row, he's looking forward to getting back on the road.

"I get to perform all the time, but I just never get over it," he said. "For as long as my body allows for it, I want to keep going."

The pro dancer will be joined by special guests, along with other fan favorites from "Dancing With The Stars," including Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Hayley Erbert, Jenna Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Gleb Savchenko and Emma Slater.

Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. ET on DWTSTour.com.

Chmerkovskiy, 30, said fans of the ballroom dance competition can expect "more character driven performances rather than ... a bunch of dances" on tour.

He's especially looking forward to partnering with other pro dancers, whom he's usually going head-to-head against in the ballroom.

"Our female professionals have definitely stolen the spotlight in the past couple of seasons," Chmerkovskiy said. "They're incredible. Each one brings something different. Each one has a different flavor, a different style and I love kind of fusing my own style [with theirs.] I’m only as good as my partner."

Now that he's set to go on tour again, Chmerkovskiy said he must have a few items with him: his backpack, jars of his favorite spread, Nutella, and his headphones.

"I have to have my Beats [by Dre] headphones just because, like I mean, they just create a different world," he said. "I put them on and I get to find my own little space among the chaos.

"When you're on tour and you're more or less attached to the hip with people, you're sharing a bus, you're next to one another at all times, for me it's important to find my own space even it's for an hour of the day just to reset," he added.

For now, Chmerkovskiy has his eyes set on winning the Mirror Ball trophy with his celebrity partner, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez.

"She's improved so much already. She has so much talent going into the competition, but I believe that talent is not a profession. Without the hard work and the focus and the drive, you're not going to accomplish much," he said.

But in case you're wondering, he definitely thinks they have a shot at winning.

"I believe in my partner always; whether that translates into winning or not ... that's irrelevant but I believe I'm going to win every season," he said. "I have a really good partner, not just because she has a range of motion that I could work with, but also because she has a personality to match. She lights up the room."
