Raven-Symoné Opens Up About 'The View' Halloween Horror Trailer
Plus, the co-host details her surprising Halloween plans.
— -- Raven-Symoné has TV and film experience, but she never ventured into the horror genre -- until now.
The actress recently appeared in a horror short alongside her "View" co-hosts which aired on Friday's show.
"The producers came to us with the idea about doing a fun commercial for Halloween and we all agreed it would be [a good time]," she told ABC News. "It was great."
Sean Flannery directed the project, which was shot in New York City after a day of filming.
"We all get along and it was shot really fast," Raven-Symoné said of the production. "Everyone's a professional on set so we were able to get through it in a speedy amount of time."
However, the former child star told ABC News that after Friday's show airs, her Halloween celebrations will come to an end. On Oct. 31, she plans to sleep.
"I have to watch 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Hocus Pocus' and make sure I don't wear a bra," she added. "No heels, no make-up. My hair needs to be as matted as possible!"
