Robert Kardashian Tweets for the First Time After Missing Kim and Kanye's Wedding

May 26, 2014 -- Robert Kardashian tweeted for the first time since missing his sister Kim's nuptials over the weekend.

The reality TV star avoided discussing the situation, instead choosing to focus on Memorial Day.

"Lord Jesus, protect those who protect me- police, firefighters, and those in the military," he wrote in a series of tweets. "Teach me to pray for them and to honor them for their service. Amen."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, 27, has been having a rough go of things recently. After tweeting that he "found out I was trending for being fat," he remarked that he is "a grown man and will work on myself when I choose." After that, he wrote that he was working out. (He has since deleted all of these tweets.) However, the entire experience proved to be uncomfortable for him, and he ended up leaving Europe before his sister's wedding.

Reports as to why are varied. TMZ reported that he had a fight with his family, but according to People, there was no dramatic reason.

"He just didn't want to see a bunch of people both nights and really just is not feeling like himself," a source told the magazine. "He is really overweight and having a hard time with it. ... There was no big fight between him and Kim. This was just a decision he made."

A request for comment to Kardashian's publicist was not immediately returned.
