'Saved by the Bell': Where Are They Now?

Jan. 28, 2013— -- intro: First there was the "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff "90210." Now "Boy Meets World" is getting a reboot with "Girl Meets World."

Could a comeback for the cast of "Saved by the Bell?" be far behind?

Star Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zach Morris, thinks the door is open. He told TMZ last week that if "Boy" can do it, "maybe we'll do a reunion as well."

A day later, Dennis Haskins, who played principal Mr. Belding, seconded the notion.

"I have always supported a reunion of any kind, including all of us," Haskins told TMZ. "Honestly, the fans still love us and our show so much; they deserve it!"

Indeed, a whole generation of teens and tweens grew up on the escapades of Zach and his fellow Bayside students. "Bell," which premiered Saturday mornings in the late '80s and wrapped in 1994, launched the careers of Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen, Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond.

While the show's squeaky-clean story lines were tame compared with today's teen hits like "Gossip Girl," the real lives of the cast members became fodder for the tabloids and gossip magazines.

Diamond, now 36, went from class geek to porn star when a 2006 sex tape of him and two women in wedding garb was released. In 2009, he released the tell-all book "Behind the Bell" about sexual escapades, drug use and hardcore partying among cast members.

It's no surprise that Diamond is no longer close to the cast. When the stars reunited for a People magazine cover shoot shortly before his book's release, Diamond was noticeably absent. The others have reportedly stayed in close touch.

"Blue" creator Steven Bocho cast him in his 2008 legal drama "Raising the Bar" on TNT, but the show lasted only one season. Currently, he's the star of the TNT series "Franklin & Bash."

In 2011, he divorced former model Lisa Ann Russell, with whom he has two children, Michael Charles and Ava Lorenn, and married advertising executive Catriona McGinn in July 2012 after a yearlong engagement.

As for Zach, there may be hope with Kelly -- if Jimmy Fallon has his way. The late-night host has been trying to organize a "class reunion" since 2009. So far Gosselaar, Voorhies, Berkley, Lopez and Haskins have signed on. Tiffani Thiessen posted a parody video on the website Funny or Die, claiming she was too busy to participate.media: 18324421

In addition to a memorable role as Honey DeLune opposite Tim Meadows in 2000's "The Ladies Man," Thiessen played Billie on the short-lived series "Fastlane." Her most recent role on "What About Brian" was cut short when the series was canceled. Now 39, Thiessen stars in the hit series "White Collar" and has a 2-year-old daughter, Harper Renn, with husband actor Brady Smith.

She recently posed in her shirt and underwear for website Me in My Place, telling ABC News about her two decades as a sex symbol, "I think the older you get, it feels good that you can still do that little bit."media: 18324453

He made a TV comeback in 2006 after finishing second on "Dancing With the Stars," and hit Broadway in 2008 to star in "A Chorus Line." That same year, he was named permanent weekday host of "Extra" and published a fitness book showing how he got his famous abs.

In 2010, Lopez, now 39, launched a reality show on VH1 with girlfriend dancer Courtney Mazza, as they prepared for the birth of their first child. Gia Francesca Lopez was born in September 2010, and her parents tied the knot last December.media: 18324507
