Selma Blair to Play Kris Jenner on 'The People V OJ Simpson'
She joins John Travolta and Cuba Gooding Jr, who were already cast.
— -- The cast for FX’s "American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson" just gets bigger and bigger.
Today, Entertainment Weekly announced that Selma Blair, 42, will be cast as Kris Jenner in the series that will focus on the murder trial Simpson was the center of in the 1990s.
Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch, was married to Robert Kardashian, Simpson's attorney at the time of the trial for Nicole Brown Simpson's murder.
"Friends" alum David Schwimmer will play Kardashian, while John Travolta will be Robert Shapiro and Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. will play the former NFL great. Courtney B. Vance was also cast as attorney Johnnie Cochran in the series produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Blair is most known for her work in "Cruel Intentions" and "Legally Blonde," while she has also starred in TV recently in shows like "Anger Management" and "Web Therapy."
Simpson was acquitted after eight months on October 3, 1995. His ex-wife Nicole was killed at the age of 35 one year prior in June 1994.
The series has already begun filming in Los Angeles.
