— -- Will Smith took to Facebook today to dispel rumors that he and his wife of almost 20 years Jada Pinkett Smith were divorcing.

Smith's wife Jada also tweeted her support of her husband.

The couple married in 1997 and has been plagued by rumors in the past.

In 2012, Pinkett Smith spoke to French magazine Gala and said, "Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it's us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it."

She added about rumors they were living apart, "That's ridiculous. We've always lived together."

Just this past June, Pinkett Smith spoke to Howard Stern about giving her husband freedom and how strong their relationship is after two decades together.

"You gotta trust who you're with and at the end of the day, right, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man," she said. "Will is a man of integrity so he's got all the freedom in the world. ... As long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be OK, I'm good."
