Will Smith Says Wife Jada Pinkett in 'Magic Mike XXL' Is 'Awkward'

— -- Even when you’re movie star Will Smith, it gets a little weird when your wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, 43, is in the new "Magic Mike XXL" opposite a topless Channing Tatum.

"How does it feel that Jada is in this film with a whole bunch of naked men?" Ellen DeGeneres asked the actor on her show this week.

"It's really interesting," he said. "The guys, there were a lot of famous people [in the cast]. Everywhere I go, there's someone who's been in their underwear around my wife. It's just awkward. It's awkward, Ellen!"

DeGeneres fired back and said that guys like Tatum and Joe Manganiello have to compete with him, because he looks great in his new movie "Focus."

Smith has said before that it was his co-star Margot Robbie, who was just 23 at the time of filming, who inspired him to hit the gym hard before this flick.

"Jada Googled Margot," the 46-year-old said. "[Jada told me], 'Boy, you need to get to the gym right now.'"

Smith added "I was a late bloomer. Probably right around 26 or 27 years old, I started to fill out a little bit. I've always been skinny."

Well, he's not skinny anymore.
