— -- When President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama hosted a White House state dinner in honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife last night, many Canadian celebrities were among the guests.

Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively attended, along with Mike Myers, Michael J. Fox and Sandra Oh.

Malia and Sasha Obama also attended the dinner -- their first.

President Obama got emotional when he noted his daughters' attendance. "When I first elected to this office, Malia was just 10 and Sasha was 7. And they grow up too fast. Now Malia is going off to college...and I'm starting to choke up," he told guests.
