Stars Sound Off on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'
"Theory of Everything" star is latest to voice opinion on reality show family.
— -- When it comes to the Kardashians, most people either love them or hate them.
Celebrities are no exception.
British actress Felicity Jones, 31, is the latest star to sound off about the reality stars and their show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
Amid all the hubbub over receiving her first Oscar nomination for "The Theory of Everything," Jones unwinds with episodes of "KUWTK."
"Watching their show is so relaxing," she told Violet Grey for its latest issue. "It’s how I switch off. And they all have an incredible work ethic, don’t they?"
Jones also cops to such lowbrow weaknesses as McDonald's and Britney Spears' "(Hit Me) Baby One More Time."
But she's not alone in her obsession with the Kardashians. Here are what some other celebrities have said about television's best-known reality family.
Jones and Jennifer Lawrence would probably get along well, bonding over junk food and reality TV.
Lawrence has made no secret of her love for all things Kardashian. She first fessed up to watching the show in a 2013 interview with USA Today. Then, last October, she told Vanity Fair, "The Kardashians were just in Thailand, so that was a pretty big deal." Even more recently, she gushed to none other than Kim Kardashian about her love for the show.
"I was in N.Y.C. and I ran into Jennifer Lawrence," Kardashian told Britain's The Sun. "We said ‘Hi’ and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing, she screamed across the lobby, ‘I love your show!’ We were laughing so hard."
While filming her own MTV reality show in 2013, singer Kesha gave props to the Kardashians. "I have a love for the Kardashians, I’m not going to lie to you," she told The Associated Press. "I love that show."
On the other hand, Cher has had nothing but bad things to say about the Kardashians.
The iconic singer took to Twitter in 2011 to rant about her dislike for the show and all things reality TV. "I don’t watch reality! Never saw a Kardashian but these B****s should be Drop kicked down a freeway! Not kidding!" she tweeted.
After she received several angry responses, Cher clarified her statement. "Let me be clear! Am not Hate'n Kardashian Fam.Don't know them!"
The Obamas
After they moved into the White House, Michelle Obama let slip that her girls Sasha and Malia like watching the Kardashians, even if their father, President Obama, doesn't want them to.
"Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians -- when they watch that stuff -- he doesn’t like it very much," the first lady told iVillage in 2011. "But I sort of feel like if we're talking about it, and I'm more concerned with how they take it in -- what did you learn when you watched that. And if they're learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I'm like, OK."
Famously private James Bond star Daniel Craig got into the subject of celebrity over-sharing with British GQ in 2011. That, of course, led to a discussion of reality television and the current first family of reality TV, the Kardashians.
"It is a career; I’m not being cynical. And why wouldn’t you? Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions," he told the magazine. "I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them. You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f****** idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it." He then added, "Well, I am, obviously."
