Nov. 1 -- Alert the gossip columnists: Julia Roberts is interested in reteaming with her Ocean's Eleven co-star George Clooney in his directorial debut, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Roberts and Clooney reportedly were very chummy on the set of Eleven, prior to her breakup with boyfriend Benjamin Bratt. We're guessing Roberts will waive most of her usual $20 million fee for Confessions, which will also co-star Clooney, Sam Rockwell and Drew Barrymore.

Her role as a CIA operative is likely to be a small one, as is her part in the all-star casino heist film, Ocean's Eleven.

Confessions is based on the so-called memoirs of Gong Show host Chuck Barris, who claims to have led a double life as a government assassin.

Rockwell (Galaxy Quest, Charlie's Angels) will play Barris, Clooney will play a CIA recruiter, and Barrymore will play Barris' unsuspecting girlfriend.

The screenplay is by Being John Malkovich's Charlie Kaufman, so you know it'll be suitably wacky.

First up for Roberts is her third teaming with director Steven Soderbergh on his film The Art of Negotiating a Turn, which begins shooting Nov. 5.
