Charlie Sheen's Daughter Busted
June 8 -- Charlie Sheen's wild genes may run in the family. The Spin City star's 16-year-old daughter was arrested at a fashionable Malibu, Calif., boutique and charged with burglary.
The girl was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Stella Maris boutique, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Richard Pena told reporters. She was charged with burglary and later released to her mother, with whom she lives in Malibu.
According to police, a burglary charge results when evidence shows that a suspect allegedly entered an establishment with the intent to commit theft, Pena told Reuters.
No further details were released. A Stella Maris representative did not return calls for comment.
The girl is the only daughter of Sheen, 35, and Paula Profit. Her name was not released because she is a juvenile.
Charlie Sheen, who joined Spin City after the departure of Michael J. Fox in May 2000, has had plenty of his own run-ins with the law. The now-clean-and-sober actor was in and out of drug and alcohol rehab in the mid-'90s and was found to be one of Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss' regular customers. He was also charged with assault and battery multiple times for encounters with former girlfriends.
