Sound Bites: Living End, Rosenbergs, Dream

The Living End to Roll On

Australian rock act The Living End will hit nine North American cities as the band crosses from Asia to Europe on its world tour in support of Roll On. The album, due March 27, features 13 songs of punk-fueled pop and follows the band's 1998 self-titled debut. The trio's tour begins tonight in Sydney, Australia, and wraps April 4 in England.

Rosenbergs Employ Old-Fashioned Napster

New York rockers the Rosenbergs are teaming with Napster to promote their debut, Mission: You — but there's no need for a high-speed connection. The band and Napster have reinterpreted file-sharing in a more 20th century light: Every copy of the CD — which hits stores Feb. 20 — will come bundled with a second "Napster" replica, which the buyer can give to someone else. With the giveaway the Rosenbergs are hoping to reach more people — and perhaps bring more people out for their Napster-sponsored tour.
