Jada Pinkett Smith Has a Girl
L O S A N G E L E S, Nov. 2 -- Actress Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of movie star Will Smith, gave birth on Halloween to the couple’ssecond child, a daughter, his publicist reported today.
The baby girl, named Willow Camille Reign Smith, weighed 6pounds, 10 ounces at birth, according to a statement frompublicist Stan Rosenfield.
The couple have a 2-year-oldson named Jaden Christopher, and the actor has a son, Trey, born in 1992, froma previous marriage.
Smith, 32, the star of movie blockbusters Men in Black andIndependence Day, returns to theaters this weekend in RobertRedford’s The Legend of Bagger Vance, playing a caddie who helpsa former golf star (Matt Damon) regain his “swing.”
Pinkett Smith, 29, stars as a TV executive in Spike Lee’s latestfilm, Bamboozled, a satire about racism in the entertainmentindustry.
Smith and Pinkett Smith, who married Dec. 31, 1997, met when sheauditioned for the role of his girlfriend for the 1990s TV seriesThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, though the part ultimately went toNia Long.
