September 14 -- We can barely keep up with the celebrities having babies these days, so here's our maternity cattle call:

New parents Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have discovered lots to love in their new son, Dylan, born Aug. 5. Mom's discovered that Dylan's got a D-shaped birthmark and that, lo and behold, the new little Douglas has inherited the trademark deep-set chin dimple of dad and grandpa Kirk Douglas. Zeta-Jones tells US Weekly that she was never the doll-and-baby-buggy type as a girl, and that she was never into babies before this. It's a wonder then that Michael's courtship line "I want to father your children" was successful.

Oscar winner Marlee Matlin, 35, who was Emmy-nominated for her recurring role on NBC's The West Wing, and her policeman husband, Kevin Grandalski, are the proud new parents of a baby boy, born Tuesday in Los Angeles. The boy, whose name has not been released, is the second child for the deaf actress and her hubby, who already have a 4-year-old daughter.

Raging Bull actress Cathy Moriarty, 39, delivered twins, a boy and a girl, on Sept. 11 in New York City. The papa is Joseph Gentile, a Wall Street financier, says People magazine.

ER's Alex Kingston, 37, is expecting her first child early next year, thanks to in vitro fertilization. Kingston, who was once married to Ralph Fiennes, is now hitched to German freelance journalist Florian Haertel.

Amy Brenneman, 36, an Emmy nominee for her CBS series, Judging Amy, is also expecting her first child with her husband, director Brad Silberling. No word on how they'll deal with it on the series, on which Amy, the character, is divorced.

The Practice's Kelli Williams, 30, was showing her baby bulge at the Emmys (she co-presented with the also-expecting Jane Leeves). The actress told Mr. Showbiz she's due in February; Leeves is due in late December or early January. Williams and her husband, writer Ajay Sahgal, already have one son, 2-year-old Kiran Ram.
