Federline in Reality Show Talks
Dec. 4, 2006 — -- What does a rapper of questionable talent do when his multimillionaire pop star wife dumps him? Gets his own reality show, of course.
Britney Spears' soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline is working with the producer of the E! reality show "House of Carters" to develop his own series.
"Kevin came to me because he liked the way...I made Nick Carter look real and trustworthy," Kenneth Crear tells Us Weekly. "I gave people a different perspective of him and made people really respect him."
As for what the show will be about, Crear says, "The show will show [K-FED] for who he is but [will] not smear [Britney]. It was just a marriage that didn't work out but it will show who he is beyond that."
Federline -- a dancer before his relationship with Spears made him world famous -- has proven to be less than successful as a singer. His recent debut album, "Playing With Fire," sold less than 6,000 in its first week of release and quickly fell off the charts. Several concerts to support the album have been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
No word yet on which network will have the pleasure of airing this soon-to-be-classic.
