Surprise! Poppy Montgomery Is Married to Shawn Sanford

Poppy Montgomery is a married woman.

The "Unforgettable" star announced on "Live! with Kelly & Michael" that she and Sanford, a Microsoft executive, were married on Feb. 19 at Disneyland. The couple, who welcomed their daughter, Violet, last April, said, "I do," on the Chinese New Year.

"My mother was horrified. She was like, 'How do you turn Disneyland into Vegas? You don't run away to Disneyland and get married!'" Montgomery said. "Mickey and Minnie came dressed as a bride and a groom!"

Luckily, the couple's children were more impressed. (Montgomery has a son, Jackson, from a previous relationship.)

"My children were so in awe of Mickey and Minnie that they didn't really pay any attention to the wedding," she said. "And then my stepdaughter said, 'Why is Minnie dressed better than you?' Because I wore jeans!"
