Taylor Swift to Debut ‘Bad Blood’ Music Video at 2015 Billboard Music Awards

The new music video for Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” will premiere next month.

— -- Taylor Swift will open the 2015 Billboard Music Awards by debuting the music video for her song “Bad Blood,” awards officials announced today.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, the cast of the video includes winners of Golden Globe, Emmy and Grammy awards, as well as movie stars and supermodels, according to the release from Billboard Music Awards and Dick Clark Productions.

The awards will be held May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast live on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern, and rapper Ludacris and model Chrissy Teigen will host.

Artists scheduled to perform at the event include Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran and Van Halen. There will be several duets, including from Meghan Trainor and John Legend, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea and Little Big Town and Faith Hill. Singer Estelle and “Empire” stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray also will perform.

“Bad Blood” is the fourth single off the 25-year-old Swift’s hit album, “1989.” The album has already sold more than 7 million copies worldwide since it was released in October.
