Taylor Swift Shakes Off Ambush by Rabid Fan
The pop star wrestled her leg free from an an overzealous fan in viral video.
— -- Taylor Swift is known for “Shaking It Off” on stage, but a scary run-in with a rabid fan instead has the pop superstar shaken up.
In a video from Swift’s concert Tuesday night as she’s working the stage, a complete stranger grabs at her leg. A horrified Swift, 25, wrestled herself away from the over excited fan before shooting him a look as scathing as one of her break-up anthems.
But ever the professional, the 7-time Grammy winner continued the show within seconds of the occurrence as the trouble-making fan was promptly escorted away by security.
This isn’t the first time a star has been ambushed on stage.
In April, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine was attacked by an overzealous fan mid-concert. Levine shoved her away and told her to “calm down.”
And in 2013, Beyonce was dragged off the stage at a concert in Brazil.
But as for Swift, she’s not holding onto any “Bad Blood,” posting to Instagram after the concert, “Thanks Edmonton-- tonight was insanely fun and I can't wait to be back on your stage tomorrow night!”
