Tom Arnold Reaches His 100-Pound Weight-Loss Goal
Now 187 pounds, he "is in the best shape of his life," his rep tells ABC News.
March 11, 2014 -- Tom Arnold has a lot to celebrate.
According to his publicist, he has reached his goal weight.
"He's happily reached his 100-pound weight-loss goal," she told ABC News. "He went from 287 pounds to 187 pounds and is in the best shape of his life."
It shows.
In new photos from the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, the 55-year-old actor looked thinner than ever -- and for good reason.
In January, he said that being a father inspired him to get in shape.

"Something inside of me changed," he said. "I knew I needed to live as long as I could. . . . The moment I saw [my son Jax], I realized he deserves the best."
Topping out at 287 pounds, Arnold was depressed and overeating, often consuming as many as 15 diet sodas in a day and an extra-large meat pizza for dinner.
Now regularly doing cardio, circuit-training and abdominal workouts, Arnold feels better than ever.
The biggest perk? He's playing with Jax, who turns 1 in April, more than ever.
"I have tons more energy," he said.
