Victoria’s Secret’s bejeweled, $2 million Dream Angels Fantasy Bras were revealed this morning on “Good Morning America,” and the line’s models - Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio - appeared live for the unveiling.
Lima and Ambrosio will each wear one of the two bras at the upcoming 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Dec. 9.
"It’s like a highlight really of the show, the fantasy bra, and every year the models, we always get nervous to see who is going to get to wear the bra," Limsa said on "GMA."
"This year it’s really exciting because it’s the first time that we’re going to have two Fantasy Bras on the fashion show," she said. "I’m honored to be here with Alessandra, doing the show, walking the runway together. I cannot wait."
The bras were designed exclusively for the lingerie retailer by the jeweler, Mouawad.
The bras are adorned with more than 16,000 rubies, diamonds and blue sapphires. Accompanying those garments are arm, leg, stomach and neck pieces made of fine gemstones strung together with 18-karat gold.
It took more than 1,380 hours to create the bras and accompanying body pieces, according to Victoria’s Secret.
"It’s definitely I think the most watched, most viewed fashion show in the world," Ambrosio said. "They have all those amazing performance on the runway and we work out really hard for the show so, you know, we might as well have fun in those beautiful Dream Angel Fantasy Bras."
