— -- Taylor Swift's single "Shake It Off" has perched atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for weeks, and it seems that everybody in America is singing it in their cars, walking down the street and everywhere else.

Add Steve Carell to that list.

During an appearance on the ABC News show, "Popcorn with Peter Travers," Carell was asked to sing the song that was in his head and immediately blurted out the lyrics to "Shake It Off."

"I love it. I actually love Taylor Swift," he gushed. "I think she's great."
