'Wet Hot American Summer' Cast Revealed by Netflix
Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and other stars from the original are back.
— -- Netflix is reviving "Wet Hot American Summer," and they've recruited much of the original cast for it.
The streaming service announced that the cult classic will return for an eight-episode series in time for summer.
So, which counselors are returning for the second go-around? Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter are among the stars coming back.
The series, as was the case with the 2001 cult classic film, was co-written by David Wain and Showalter and will be directed by Wain.
Some burning questions remain: Will it still be 1981? Is it a reunion that Michael Ian Black's McKinley won't be able to make because he has something at 11:00 that he's already moved twice? Does Elizabeth Banks's Lindsay still taste like a burger, and does Paul Rudd's Andy even like her anymore?
Here's hoping we'll find out soon.
