Zayn Malik Debuts New Tattoo -- on His Face

— -- Former One Direction singer Zayn Malik added a new tattoo to his collection.
Malik showed off his new permanent ink on Instagram Friday. The tattoo -- located on his face -- appears to be a rising phoenix set to take off and on top is a scroll with the initials "M.O.M."
A rep for Malik, 23, said the singer had no comment on what the tattoo means.
Is he being sentimental about his mother?
Perhaps, but fans, who have been following his social media accounts for the last few weeks, seemed certain the tattoo is a nod to his upcoming debut solo album, titled "Mind of Mine." It drops March 25.
Malik has been showing his tattoos off a lot recently. They were even featured on the cover of his debut album, which shows him as a child with his real-life tattoos photoshopped onto his arms.
