Travel Tips: Where to Find Summer Deals

March 24, 2010— -- It's finally starting to warm into spring, and for many Americans, visions of summer trips to sandy beaches and exotic locales dance in their heads.

But before you book, be sure you're getting the best deal.

This morning on "Good Morning America" Bianna Golodryga revealed top tips for booking a bargain summer vacation:

$30 a Day Rentals
Most major car rental companies are offering promotions, such as $30 a day rentals.

Viva Mexico

There are many deals on international travel packages, such as a seven-day stay at a four-star hotel in Cancun, Mexico, for two people with airfare for around $1,000.

Cruise Lines

For a seven-night Caribbean cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., you can find an interior room for around $500 per person.

If you decide to wait and take your vacation after the summer, you can book a seven-night Alaskan cruise in September for $530 for an interior room.
