"I've had countless dreams of sitting at the table with the women of 'The View' discussing hot topics," she wrote. "Whoopi is honestly the best thing they could've done for 'The View' and I think she is so honest like myself. I feel as though I can bring some flavor to 'The View' so tell the ladies to move over because here I come... Let's get that Emmy!"
"Let's go Cowboys!"
43-year-old Amanda Roberts has a dream -- and that dream is to dance and cheer alongside the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
"I even went to the extreme of purchasing a uniform," Roberts, a mother of two adult children, said in her submission video.
Roberts, who now lives in Bossier City, Louisiana, is originally from Dayton, Texas. She began to cheer for the team because her mother was a fan.
Roberts watches all of the team's games, watches the Dallas Cowboys' cheerleader reality show, and works out to the Cowboys cheerleader exercise DVDs. She even owns a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader costume -- a treat she bought to surprise her then fiancé, now her husband.
The couple was married last week. Roberts said he is "one of the biggest Cowboy fans" she knows, and attending games was a big part of their courtship.
Roberts said she grew up watching the cheerleaders on television and said to herself, "I can do that!"
