    "In restricted zone--driving into ash right now," ABC News' <a href="http://twitpic.com/1ga33l" target="external">Neal Karlinsky tweeted</a> along with this photo. Karlinsky flew over and drove into ash spewing from the Icelandic volcano that has grounded flights over a large part of Europe. He reported "<a href="http://twitpic.com/1ga498" target="external">visibility near zero</a>" once he rode into the ash cloud. "I've never experienced anything like this. <a href="http://twitpic.com/1gadjw" target="external">Pitch black</a>. Thunder. Choking ash. Sunny day nearby," he wrote. "<a href="http://twitpic.com/1gajmh" target="external">Driving in ash</a>. Like midnight in a storm. Have seen horses &amp; birds covered. Helpless."
