GMA's Mother's Day Breakfast in Bed Contest Official Rules

Eligibility Guidelines: Entrants must be legal residents of the 48 United States or the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older. The mom you are nominating does not have to be your own mother, but she must be available for a surprise by Emeril Lagasse, and be available to travel on May 5, 2016 and May 6, 2016.

Contest sponsored by Good Morning America and American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("Sponsors").

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Good Morning America ("GMA"), American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("ABC"), any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

Contest Entry Period: Good Morning America's "'GMA's Mother's Day Breakfast in Bed" Contest (the "Contest") entry period begins 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 and ends at 3:00 p.m. ET on Monday, April 25, 2016 (the "Contest Period"). Sponsors’ computer is the official clock for this Contest.

How to Enter: Tell us why a mother you know is so special. Has she overcome obstacles in her life? Are there people she has gone out of her way to help? Submissions must include: a) an essay, not to exceed 100 words in length, explaining why your Nominee deserves to have Emeril Lagasse surprise her with breakfast and a brand new bed c) a photo of your Nominee. Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to appear in the photo. The photo may also include an image of you with the Nominee. Entrants must have full rights to use (and to grant for Sponsors’ use) any photos submitted including the permission of any third parties (excluding the Nominee) who appear in a photo; photos may not be the protected works of another party; entries that are incomplete or are submitted with inappropriate or offensive photos will be immediately disqualified. One entry per person’s e-mail address; no additional entries will be permitted. No entry may be submitted in any other contest or promotion.
