Eligibility Guidelines:

Entrants and Nominees must be legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Nominees must be at least seven (7) years of age. Entrant, Nominee, Winner and anyone else involved in the fulfillment of Good Morning America's "Disney Parks Memory Makers" Search ("Memory Makers") must be available to be interviewed by Good Morning America sometime between March 2, 2012 and June 1, 2012. Winners and up to three guests for each Winner must be available to take their vacation sometime between June 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. (dates and locations will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor).

Contest sponsored by Good Morning America ("Show") and American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("Sponsor").

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Good Morning America ("GMA"), American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("ABC"), Disney Destinations LLC, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

How to Enter: Submit an essay, not to exceed 200 words in length, explaining who the special person is in your life is ("Nominee") what he or she has done to change your life, and why that person deserves a Memory Makers vacation at either the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida or the Disneyland® Resort in Southern California. Entrants cannot nominate themselves, but Winner may invite Entrant as one of his or her three guests. Entries should include heartfelt language that speaks to the power and importance of creating memories. Entries should also indicate a preference for the prize package at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida or the Disneyland® Resort in Southern California. Each Entrant must also include a photo of himself/herself and the Nominee if declared a Winner. Entrants must have full rights to use any photos submitted; photos may not be the protected works of another party; entries submitted with inappropriate or offensive photos will be immediately disqualified. By submitting entry materials, Entrants certify that such materials are original and created by Entrant; that Entrants have the necessary rights, permission and authority to submit such materials as well as necessary permission to discuss any person included or discussed as part of the entry; that materials submitted have not been entered into any other contest, fulfillment or related promotion or service; and, if applicable, that Entrants maintain a valid copyright in any entry materials.

Contest Entry Period: Good Morning America's "Disney Memory Makers" Search (the "Contest") entry period begins 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 01/16/12 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on 02/03/12 (the "Contest Period"). Sponsor computer is the official clock for this Contest.

Enter Online at www.goodmorningamerica.com. There you will find instructions on the appropriate and acceptable file formats and sizes for submitting your entry electronically.

Deadline for entries:

All online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, 02/03/12.

Judging Procedure, Notification and Finalists Judging:

Eligible entries will be judged on the basis of potential for on-air appeal, compelling nature of story, and overall readability of essay. Decisions of the judges are final as to all contest-related matters.

Three Winners will be chosen by the judges on or about 03/02/12.

In the event any Winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with contest procedures, is not available to participate as specified, is, or becomes, unable to completely fulfill all aspects of the contest including but not limited to full execution of the awarding of the prize as specified by the Sponsor, or for any other reason, then a First Runner-up will be deemed one of the three Winners, time permitting.

In the event of a tie, the Finalist with the highest score in the compelling nature of story category will be declared one of the Winners.

Prizes:Two of the Memory Makers Winners will each be awarded a vacation package for four (4) nights and five (5) days for the Winner and up to three (3) guests at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Each vacation package includes: Four (4) round trip coach air fares between the major United States gateway airport closest to Winner's residence and the Orlando International Airport. Four (4) round trip ground transfers between the Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World® Resort; (If the Winner resides within 250 miles of the Walt Disney World® Resort, air fare and ground transfer will not be provided to the Winner and guests); Room accommodations consisting of one (1) standard room (with a maximum of four (4) persons per room) for three (3) nights at a hotel at the Walt Disney World® Resort selected by Disney in its sole discretion; One night stay (consecutive to the hotel stay) at the Cinderella Castle Suite in the Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort with Disney-selected food and beverage snacks, including breakfast at Cinderella Royal Table; Four (4) 5-Day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper® Option; A Disney Gift Card with a value of five hundred dollars ($500) for the Winner to use anywhere a Disney Gift Card is accepted; A Disney Gift Card with a value of one thousand one hundred dollars ($1,100) to assist Winner and Winner's guests with meals during their stay; Disney's Magical Celebration "in room" décor in Winner's Walt Disney World® Resort hotel room; One (1) Disney's PhotoPass® Book and one (1) Disney's PhotoPass® CD. Items that are not included as part of the winning vacation packages at the Walt Disney World® Resort are airport departure fees and taxes, travel insurance, meals, hotel room service, parking fees, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges or taxes, resort fees or taxes, and all other charges and items not otherwise described above.

One of the Memory Makers Winners will be awarded a vacation package for four (4) nights and five (5) days for the Winner and up to three (3) guests at the Disneyland® Resort. All elements used to fulfill each Winner's Memory Makers vacation package will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Certain restrictions shall apply to all of the vacation packages, which restrictions shall be determined by Disney in its sole and absolute discretion. Winners must provide the Disney fulfillment team with three options for travel dates. A minimum of 90 days is required to make the necessary arrangements for booking winning vacation. Departure date and accommodations are subject to availability; block-out dates may apply.

Each Winner and his/her guests must travel together on the same itinerary. The vacation packages (and all elements thereof) are not redeemable for cash or other substitutes and are non-transferable except in Disney's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.The vacation packages and vacation components may not be sold, exchanged, traded, rescheduled to dates not within the fulfillment period set forth above, or refunded. Winners must be at least seven (7) years of age as of February 3, 2012, to win. Travelers under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who is at least eighteen (18) years of age. Portions of the prize, including but not limited to appearances on Good Morning America, are subject to availability. Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation or preemption of show or for other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill this or other elements of the prize. The appearance portion of the prize has no approximate retail value, as well as other potential elements of the prize, and if it becomes impractical or impossible to fulfill this or any element, Sponsor's only obligation will be to provide the remainder of prize.

Disney, its parent, related, affiliated and subsidiary companies and their respective officers, directors agents, employees and assigns shall be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions that arise out of and/or in any way related to the prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the prize and/or the contest.

Approximate Retail Value:

The estimated retail value of each of the two Memory Makers vacation packages at Walt Disney World® Resort is $32,463.78. The estimated retail value of the one Memory Makers vacation package at the Disneyland® Resort is $23,950.68. The final value of each vacation package will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor based upon elements used to fulfill each vacation package. The additional cash prize awarded to each Winner is intended for use by that Winner toward payment of Federal, State or local taxes; Sponsor makes no representations or warranties that the additional cash prize amount will be sufficient to pay all of Winner's tax liability associated with receipt of any prize. Final actual retail value may be considerably higher or lower depending on the final elements that will comprise each Memory Maker vacation package. No additional cash will be awarded to any Winner if the final value of the prize package is less than the approximate retail value listed in the rules.

Each Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize, cash or any other payment in kind valued at a total of $600 or more. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

Releases:

By participating, Entrants and Winners agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Judges, which shall be final in all respects. By entering the Contest, Entrants and Winners agree to execute in a timely manner and by any deadline set by Sponsor any and all paperwork requested by the Sponsor which may include, but is not limited to, a background check prior to any on-line or on air appearance of Entrant, Winner, any person who may be one of the traveling companions of the Winner, or Entrant's submission or related materials.

All submissions will become the sole property of ABC and Disney, which may reprint or otherwise exploit the entry in any manner, in any media, in perpetuity. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, release and indemnification within seven days of notification of winning. By participating in this contest and accepting any prize that they may win, Entrants and Winners agree to release American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize or portion of any prize.

Entrants and Nominees authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material in any and all media currently in existence or hereafter created, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a Winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.

Entrants and Nominees acknowledge that any entry materials may be included and/or discussed in a broadcast, that such discussion may include statements or opinions by the broadcast talent or others about the Entrants and Nominees, the Entrants' and Nominees' appearances and/or the materials, and that those statements and opinions may be considered surprising, humiliating, embarrassing, derogatory, defamatory or otherwise offensive or injurious to them, Sponsor's employees, its studio or at-home audience and/or other third parties. Entrants and Nominees release the Released Parties from any actions, claims, injury, loss or damage allegedly caused, directly or indirectly, by any such statements or opinions made during a broadcast.

Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.To claim prize: (a) Winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) Winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification; and (c) Entrant, and Winner's intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, must sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.
