Cuisinart's latest product lets you bring the professional ice cream machine into your kitchen. The machine freezes the ice cream base without any cumbersome prep beforehand. Pour the base in, set the timer and you're done. There are two paddles to choose from, one is for gelato and the other is for ice cream. The machine takes about 30-45 minutes to churn the ice cream depending on the amount that you're making. There is also a setting to keep the ice cream cold if you aren't around to take it out.

Clean-up is easy. The metal bowl removes effortlessly from the base to be washed. The only drawback is that the machine is heavy and requires a good amount of counter space. (It's slightly larger than the size of a toaster oven.) If you have the space, or make ice cream often, it's a great investment that will save you a ton of time.
